On Friday, BTC witnessed a sudden double-digit spike to 10-day highs when the business tycoon Elon Musk added ‘Bitcoin’ to his Twitter and all of a sudden BTC skyrocketed as much as 20% as much as to $37K.
According to data from industry site CoinDesk, the virtual currency climbed suddenly at around 3:30 a.m. ET, adding $5,000 in the space of an hour to trade at $37,299, at 8:00 a.m. ET, it extended increase to trade around $37,653. Also, the 15.7% rise happened in less than 15 minutes that day and more than upturned the early dip from $34,400 to $32,000.
While the community of Bitcoin is keen for Musk to come out their supporter, he seemingly enjoys reducing crypto mentions as something of a tease. While the exact reason for the confident move is hard to describe, prices at BTC surged after Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk added #Bitcoin to his Twitter bio, to mention the crypto currency.
Earlier on Friday morning, Musk tweeted, with more than 47 million followers on Twitter. Musk added #bitcoin to his Twitter bio. He also sent out publicly cryptic tweet, which got a fair amount of attention, saying:
“In retrospect, it was inevitable.”
The business tycoon claimed in a Clubhouse chat, chat that his tweets about the cryptocurrency are “jokes.” Even if his tweets are jokes or not, whenever Musk tweets, people listen to him and act. He has also tweeted about Dogecoin.
